Landin Jordan, age 8, won the U8 division of the Pepsi State Championships last May. Landin qualified during his league competition to advance to his zone. He won the zone level and advanced to the state championship. Landin competed against all 8 year olds and under and was the top bowler with a score of 453. Landin is currently a 3rd grader at North School in Sycamore. He bowls league at Mardi Gras Lanes in DeKalb and ended the 2014-2015 season with a 141 average. His high game is a 201 and his high series is a 526. This season will be Landin’s third year bowling league but he has been bowling since he could walk. Landin says of his win “I was happy to win because I put a lot of hard work into it. I would practice almost everyday with my dad after school.”
Congratulations to Andy Cadie for bowling a 767 series with a Venom Shock bowling ball on September 15th. He also rolled a 299 game in the third game of the series. Andy bowls in the B&B League at Mardi Gras Lanes.
